Glomus Tumor

Abstract

|
Four cases of glomus tumor on the finger tip were reported, which had characteristic clinical manifestations of severe pain and tenderness. Occasionally in two cases contact bleeding from ulcerated surface of the tumor found.
Literature was breifly reviewed. Tumors were found in same incidences of sex and age of young adult. Duration was month to 30 years. The common causes of the glomus tumors were trauma or injury. All of the cases had previous treatment befor their initial examination at our hospital. Surgical excision was treatment of chice for glomus tumor.
